Five Dollah!

Good news for D. White, if he ever comes back to Washington: the $5 hot chocolate almost disappeared this year, but thanks to Nick’s highly valued offspring futures, it’s back.

  1. Barzelay says:

I am the sort of person who is the right combination of curious and frivolous to try something like a $5 hot chocolate. At $5, I was definitely happy with the value. It was damn good hot chocolate. Almost as good as I make at home, which takes about 20 minutes. I’d definitely order it again. The funny thing is that I might be even more likely to try it if it were a $10 hot chocolate, but then I don’t think I’d buy it twice.

  2. Jeff says:

“Highly valued offspring futures” is a phrase that needs to be used more often.

  3. D White says:

Occasionally, that which is right and just prevails in the universe. On a travel note, if you happen to be in Berlin, a coffee bar called Kakoa (in Prenzlauer berg) offers a chocolate drink comparable to the $5.
