You didn’t brew that!

I reached out to the Tax and Trade Bureau for clarification about the White House brewery and the legality of hiring personal chefs to do one’s homebrewing. Interestingly, it’s an issue that the TTB has never had to rule on before. Check out the update to last week’s post for all the details.

    Did they say anything about the limits of “personal and family use”? The President is using the beer to stock his campaign bus and hand out samples to potential voters. At some point giving out home brewed beer (tens/hundreds/thousands?) of bottles would seem to no longer be personal and family use. I wonder where they say the line is?
