On the article about left-leaning blogs being more participatory, I’d noticed that before and wondered whether it was true statistically. My theory is perhaps less charitable than the authors’ hypotheses: I think leftists are either better at, or more predisposed to, conveying their arguments through stories and anecdotes. An anecdote-based approach will benefit from a wider diversity of voices generating the content.
