Washington State is the same. I have never agreed with state-run liquor sales. It’s bad for the consumer and it’s bad for the hospitality industry. More importantly, it’s bad for the State. Blow up the monopoly, let the free market reign with State oversight. You’ll see a greater focus on the customer, a better supply chain, and greater cost savings within the bar/restaurant category as entrepreneurs vie for institutional market share.
