Okay, so if I remember correctly you once backed me when I argued for a cap-and-trade system as an economically efficient way to reduce carbon emissions…much better than an across-the-board mandated reduction. What changed?
Nothing, but that’s just part of the plan (and would have been part of McCain’s, too). There’s going to be a whole lot of pork attached to any global warming legislation that comes through, with job programs and farm subsidies dressed up as climate change legislation.
